Circa 1900, a striking antique 'Négligée' style pendant of joyous green Chalcedony highlighted with tiny Rose-cut Diamond sparks. The négligée pendant came into fashion around 1900 and reflected a new and more restrained elegance. The bright green Chalcedony is beautifully glossy and the high sheen shows well against any fabric with a wonderful rolling movement accentuated by the pear shaped drops.
In a rosy 9ct Gold, the fine trace chain measures 19 inches and the drops a further 2 inches.
